Eunice Belle Pugsley

Mrs. Archie Pugsley of Jay Em Passes Here January 27th

Eunice Belle Pugsley, age 41 years, wife of Archie Pugsley, of the Jay Em community, passed away at the Lusk Hospital, Friday, Jan. 27th following a major operation several days previous.

Mrs. Pugsley had been in poor health for a number of years and had undergone three major operations in recent years, but in spite of her illness she kept bravely about her work and the seriousness of her condition was not realized even by her close friends.

Funeral services were held in the Jay Em hall on Monday, Jan, 30th at one thirty o'clock.

Rev. Woodard of Ft. Laramie officiated at the serices and the funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Peet Mortuary.

Mrs. Pugsley was born at Franklin, Nebr., in 1895 and with her husband moved to Wyoming 24 hears ago, locating on a homestead west of Jay Em.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, the youngest 11 years of age.
