Luella Lee Judd
Luella Lee (Thayer) Judd, age 79, of Casper, passed away May 9, 2019 at the Wyoming Medical Center. Luella was born March 7, 1940 in Lusk to Herman and Inez (Wolff) Thayer. She graduated from Lusk High School and furthered her education at the University of Wyoming and then later earned her Master’s degree at the South Dakota School of Mines.
She met the love of her life Ben Judd while teaching in Jeffrey City, WY and the two were married on August 9, 1969.
She spent many years educating youth at Douglas High School before her retirement.
Luella was devoted to her son, Shane and loved traveling to watch him play baseball.
In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Hawkins.
She is survived by her Husband, Ben Judd; Son, Shane (Jen) Judd; Granddaughter, Emmalee Judd; Niece, Richelle (Tim) Kennedy; nephew, Mike (Kristi) Judd; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Newcomer Casper Chapel. Burial will follow at the Lusk Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
