Services for Frank J. Combs Held Wednesday

Graveside services were being held in Lusk this Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 for Frank J. Combs, 82, who died in Denver Saturday. Services were conducted at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington at 1:30 p.m.

He was a son of William and Martha Darnall Combs being born May 28, 1886 in Butler County, Nebr. He married Audrey Muriel Cooper at St. Francis, Kans., December 4, 1920. The family moved to Goshen County in 1945 where he was employed by the Goshen Irrigation District for many years. He has spent the last several years with his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Thomas and Mr. Thomas in Denver. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Thomas of Denver; Mrs. Maxine Heimbuck of Rochelle, Ill.; Mrs. Nadine Wagner of Scottsbluff; two sons, Frank J. Combs, Jr. of the United States Army, stationed at San Francisco and William Combs of Perth, Australia; three sisters, Mrs. Kate Baxter, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Mabel Scott, Lincoln, Nebr.; and Mrs. Blanch Curry of Phoenix and 17 grandchildren. Mrs. Combs, one infant son, one infant daughter and three brothers died previously.
