Aged Cheyenne River Resident Dies Tuesday
Arthur H. Beebe, 81, was claimed by death Tuesday afternoon at the home of his nephew, A.T. Beebe, of the Cheyenne River community, following an illness of five months, brot on by the complications of old age.
The deceased was a native of Illinois, having been born in that state Jan. 18, 1853. During the past four years he had resided on the Cheyenne River country with his nephew, A.T, Beebe. His wife preceded him in death and if there are any surviving children their whereabouts is unknown.
As there was no physician in attendance in this case, County Coroner George Earl Peet was notified of the death but after hearing the particulars of the case, Coroner Peet decided that no investigation was necessary.
Funeral service will be held this afternoon in Edgemont,
