Robert C. Rogers, 70 Years Old Dead Here; Funeral Held Monday

Robert C. Rogers, 70 years old, familiarly known to many friends here as "Uncle Bob," died last Friday, June 6th, of myocarditis, after being an invalid for many years. He had been making his home here in Lusk with Mrs. Harry Rogers for the past ten years.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, with interment in the Lusk cemetery. Rev. Edwin Irwin of the congregational Church officiated and arrangements were made by the Geo. Earl Peet mortuary. The pallbearers were R.I. Olinger, John Snethen, Wm. Tate, Fred Root, John Harkin and J.B. Griffith.

Mr.Rogers was born in Ohio on April 6, 1860. Falling into an icy lake while out duck hunting when a young man, he never fully recovered from the effects of the accident, and was an invalid most of his life. He was a great lover of the outdoors and spent much time hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his nephews, Roy Foster and Harry Rogers of Lusk, and one nephew in Nebraska.
