CHARLES YORK PASSES AWAY

Charles Henry York, 61 years old, who had been for some time a resident on the Pinkerton ranch, north of Manville, passed away at the Douglas Hospital, on February 28th of pulmonary abscess, after having been in the hospital only a short time.

Interment was made in the Scottsbluff, Neb., cemetery, the remains being prepared by Mr. Payne of the Midwest Mortuary and transported to Scottsbluff from Douglas in the Midwest ambulance.

Charles Henry York was born in Hancock County, Illinois, June 4, 1869, being 61 years, 1 month and 24 days old at the time of death. In the year 1877 he was joined in marriage to Jane Almalda Jones. To this union were born five children, Mrs. Fred Fallon of North Bend, Neb., Mrs. Bertha Rhodes of Humbolda, Ariz., Roy York of Manville, Wyo., Mrs. B. C. Paull of North Platte, and one child, Eva, who died in infancy . The wife and mother passed away in 1901.

In 1904 Mr. York was joined in marriage to Miss Lulu Andrews. To this union was born one son and one daughter, Earl and Pearl. Besides these he leaves to mourn his passing a host of friends and relatives, including three brothers and two sisters, all residents of Nebraska.
