James C. Lowey, Age 74 Years, Dead; Body is Sent to Missouri
The ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Higgins was saddened by the death of Mrs. Higgins' father, James C. Lowey, age 74 years, who died very suddenly Saturday, January 2, 1926.
Preparations were made to take the remains to the old home at Chilocothe, {sic} Mo., Sunday evening, but due to the terrible condition of the roads it was impossible to start until Tuesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Higgins accompanied the body and will be away about two weeks.
The remains were taken care of at the Austin, Elquest, Slack company undertaking parlors.
