Michelle Lynne Gentleman

Michelle Lynne Gentleman, 64 went to be with the Lord February 15, 2022 at The University of Colorado Cancer Center in Aurora, Colorado.

Michelle was born on June 15, 1957, in Chadron, Nebraska to James Edward and Veneda (Wallace) Serres. Michelle grew up on the family ranch and attended Prairie Center School. High school was completed in Lusk and she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics from the University of Wyoming in 1993.

Michelle was a loving wife, devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Michelle married Michael Gentleman and moved to Colorado for several years but returned to Torrington where she remained until her death. Michelle is survived by her mother Veneda (Serres) Trout, Torrington; husband Michael Gentleman, Torrington; son Brandon Serres and Jamie Jenkins, Torrington; her grandchildren: Layla Serres, Fort Laramie; Ryder Serres, Torrington; Ella Serres, Torrington. She is also survived by her siblings; Andrew (Terry) Serres, Cody; Edward (Tammy) Serres, St. Paris, Ohio; Eric Serres, Douglas; and Melody Serres, Torrington.

She was preceded in death by her father James Edward Serres; paternal grandparents Edward and Matilda Serres and maternal grandparents Merritt and Agnes Wallace.

Michelle loved many things, including being outdoors and animals but her greatest love and joy were her grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
