John Cody Miller, also known as Cody Miller, 67, of Gillette, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Campbell County Health.

Cody was born August 11, 1957, in Lusk, Wyoming, to John and Wanda
Miller. Cody and his siblings, Roxie, Pam, Vicky and Nicky grew up in
Lusk, where they were known to cause good-humored mischief.

Cody loved his career following the rodeo circuit as a pick-up man.
He was a genuine cowboy through and through. Cody lived for a while in
Arizona, then moved to Buffalo, Wyoming, before settling in Gillette,
Wyoming.

Before Cody retired, he was enjoying the sun as a maintenance and
groundskeeper for the Bell Nob Golf Club. Cody was an avid follower of
the Wyoming Cowboy football team, as well as a diehard fan for the
Arizona Cardinals.

Cody is survived by his mother, Wanda; siblings, Roxie, Vicky, and
Nicky; daughter, Shannon; grandson, Fabien; and nephews, Cory, Shawn and
Kolter.

Cody was predeceased into heaven by his father, John; stepfather, Phil; sister, Pam; nephew, Jeremy; and niece, Tara.

Cody’s final wish was to have his ashes spread in Buffalo, which will
take place at a later date. Any questions may be directed to Kolter
Miller, P.O. Box 7172, Gillette, WY 82717.
