Paul Luker

Paul was born on March 30, 1950, in Dumas, Arkansas, to William Hugh and Mabel Luker. He was the 6th child of seven children.

His family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1953. He graduated from Crooked Oak High School in 1968. He began working for the Department of Defense at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City right after graduating from high school.

He married Ada (Lucy) Williamson on March 21, 1969. They had two children, a Daughter, Mickie Lynn, and a son, William Ervin.

His job sent him to Utah in 1973. In 1976, they moved to North Dakota, where he began working for the Federal Aviation Administration. Another move in 1982 to Sidney, Montana, followed by his last move to Lusk, Wyoming, in 1989, where he was the supervisor of a remote radar site.

He loved the lifestyle and people of Lusk and retired in 2003. He then bought a cattle ranch and began to raise cattle. He loved the ranch and loved bringing his grandkids there. He enjoyed playing Pitch and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wm. Hugh and Mable Luker, sisters, Betty Luker, Mettie Sue Dearman, and Wilma Lucille Taylor, Brothers, Joe and Wm. Lynn Luker and an infant baby boy, Luker.

He is survived by his wife, Ada (Lucy). Daughter, Mickie (Chris) Otto of Rawlins, Wyoming, Son William (Trish) Luker of Lusk. Grandchildren Riley(Jessica) Otto of Cheyenne, WY., Tyler Otto of Cody, WY, Wm. Connor and Amber Luker of Lusk, Wyoming.

If someone wishes to leave a memorial, it can be made to the Niobrara Senior Center in Lusk, Wyoming, in honor of Paul Luker.
