Cheri Lynn Christensen
Cheri Lynn “Tollman” Christensen, age 76, passed
away peacefully on March 31, 2026, at Ponderosa Villa in Crawford,
Nebraska. She was born September 12, 1949, to Wayne & Geraldine
Tollman. Cheri grew up in Lusk, Wyoming, and graduated from Niobrara
County High School in 1967. She married Jim Christensen on May 17, 1974,
and then divorced in February 1999. She brought into the marriage a
daughter, Shana.
Cheri lived in Fremont, Nebraska, for over 20 years.
Cheri
is survived by her daughter, Shana (Kelly) Fitzwater, and three
grandchildren: Tyler, Shelby, and Marissa. Cheri is also survived by her
siblings: Becky (Roger) Watson of Arizona City, Arizona; Trendy Kirby
of Mart, Texas; Pam Jansen of Laramie, Wyoming; and Randy Tollman of
Lusk, Wyoming. One uncle, Gordon Berg, and numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins, and many friends in Nebraska.
Cheri is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents: Ralph and Frances Berg of Lusk, Wyoming.
A memorial service is pending at this time.
