OBITUARY
Robert Wayne “Bob” Morgan, age 94, died peacefully at his home in Lusk, Wyoming, on April 10, 2026. Bob was born on October 6, 1931, in Pueblo, Colorado, to John T. and Wanda Fearn Morgan, the youngest of four children. He grew up in Pueblo during the hard times of the Great Depression and the Second World War. Shortly after his mother’s death, Bob joined the US Navy. He was just 16 years old. He was Honorably Discharged in August 1951 in Seattle, Washington. He purchased a motorcycle and enjoyed riding around the western states, eventually making his way to Colorado. Back in Pueblo, he met Alyce Louise Large. They were married on February 12, 1952. Four children were born to this union.
Bob went to work for National Cash Register, serving as their representative in Pueblo, Grand Junction, and Durango, Colorado. Bob and Alyce divorced in 1964. He moved to the Denver area and worked for many years at Total Business Machines. Later, he was self-employed as a drapery and blind installer in the greater Denver area.
Bob retired and moved to Lusk in 2004, claiming that the Pizza Place was what drew him here. He settled in at the Ranger Apartments and began the great adventure he had dreamed of for years: building a house with his own two hands. He purchased a lot on the hill at Fourth and Oak and began mixing concrete for a cinder block foundation. He moved into his dream two-bedroom home in 2010. The next 15 years were spent adding many well-planned personal touches.
Bob was often seen wheeling about Lusk on his bicycle, motor scooter, or roller skates. He was an avid bowler and even became the Wyoming Senior State Champion, which earned him a trip to Reno, Nevada, to compete nationally.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Maxine and Mildred; a brother, Ted Morgan; his son Walter Grant Morgan in 2015; his daughter Wanda Leigh Allbright in 2021; and his beloved “best wife,” Madeline.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Dana Louise Williams of Lusk and Leslie June Morgan of Indianapolis, Indiana; 12 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kari) Williams of Douglas, WY; Michael (Sammi) Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Larry (Ellen) Williams of Muskegon, Michigan; Tammy Jo of White Mountain, Alaska; David Fosnaugh of Minnesota; Skye (Cassie) Allbright of Portland, Oregon, Cassie (Chris) Bauer of Morrison, Colorado; Lyndsie (Wes) Riggs of Aurora, Colorado; Ryan (Kaylee) Morgan of Colorado; Justin Morgan of Parker, Colorado; Andy Snapp of Colorado; and Kyla Snapp of Indianapolis, Indiana. 15 great-grandchildren: Noah, Jakob, Leo, and Charlotte Grace Williams; Angel, Hazel, and Clara Williams; Evelyn and Sydney Bauer; Harper and Baker Riggs; and Kiki, Mason, Poppi, and Rylie Morgan. Bob is also survived by his cousin Richard Martin and his dear friend Hana Richardson.
A Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be scattered near Durango, Colorado.
