Slug Sides, age 71, of Manville, Wyoming, passed away on Friday,
August 14, 2026, in Casper, Wyoming. A Funeral Service will be held at
the Niobrara County Fairgrounds Auditorium on Monday, August 24, 2026,
at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at the Dellview Cemetery in Manville,
Wyoming.

In Loving Memory of Slug Sides
Slug Sides was born on August 16, 1954, to Bobby and Mary Ann Sides. He passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 71.
Slug was a dedicated maintenance worker for the Town of Manville and proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter. No matter day or night, if his radio went off for a fire, he was on the go. He was known for his willingness to help others and his dedication to the people and community he cared about.
In his free time, Slug enjoyed hunting, playing pitch, and going to auctions. Slug probably knew of every auction in a 500-mile radius of Manville. He treasured spending time with his family and friends and making memories that will be remembered for years to come.
Slug would help anybody out that needed it, especially Chuck, Bobbi Kay, or his son Rowdy. But out of everyone, he had the most love for his grandkids. No matter what, when they walked in and said they needed something from Papa Slug, he made sure it happened, from ATVs to guns. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.

Visitation will be held at Pier Funeral Home on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds Auditorium in Lusk, Wyoming, on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Dellview Cemetery in Manville, Wyoming.
