Joyce English Funeral Service Here Friday

Joyce English died May 27 at Belaire Manor in Casper after a long illness. Funeral service was held in Peet Chapel May 30 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Beauford Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Ruth Hahn played the organ while Susan Hahn, Debbie Akers and Robert Doctor sang "What a Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Be Still My Soul". Pallbearers were Richard Lenz, Dan Mahnke, Martin Glandt, Joe Klemke, Henry Klemke and Earnest Lemons. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Joyce Stubson English was born February 10, 1931, at Midwest, Wyo., the daughter of Louis C. and Esther Olson Stubson.

She completed grade school in Lance Creek where the family moved when she was a small child. She attended high school in Lusk and Manville, graduating from Manville in 1949. She attended Casper Junior College for one year and was stricken with multiple sclerosis. She became a certified dental assistant through correspondence courses and was employed in that capacity in Casper several years.

Mrs. English was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Casper.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by a son, Donald English; her parents Chet and Esther Stubson of Lusk; two sisters, Darlene LaPointe and Connie Sturman, both of Casper; and a brother, Don Stubson of Thermopolis.
