Leone Atchison

Leone M. Atchison, 83 of Harrison passed away Monday, August 14, at Ponderosa Villa in Crawford.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Memorial United Methodist Church in Harrison with Rev. Henrietta Stemley officiating, Burial was in Harrison Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 18, 1916 in Falls City Neb, The daughter of Herbert A. and Emma M. ( Mecann ) Burk.

Leone married George R. Atchison on Jan. 21, 1936 in Hot Springs, S.D. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Paul R. Atchison of Norfolk, Va. and Darrel L. Atchison of Atwood, Kan.; a daughter, Loretta Wilkison of Lusk; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren

A memorial has been established for Harrison Rescue Unit of the Memorial United Methodist Church. Donations may be sent to Security Bank in Harrison.

Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron was in charge of the arrangements.
