Henry Joseph "Hank" Meyers, Jr.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. March 5 at Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie with the Rev. Grant Adams of Grace Bible Baptist Church officiating.

Henry was born on Jan. 14, 1908, at The Little Laramie Ranch outside of Laramie to Henry and Elizabeth (O'Gallagher) Meyers. He was raised in Laramie.

He married Agnes Barth on June 23, 1934. They had two daughters Eva Mae and Beverly Jean.

He worked for the Wyoming Highway Department for 30 years in Laramie, Pine Bluffs and Lusk. After retiring in 1973 they moved to Glenrock, where he lived until moving to Life Care Center in Casper in 1995.

He was an avid bowler for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed his great-grandkids coming to visit him at Life Care Center. Survivors include two grandsons, Jeff Rowe and wife Julianna of Villas, N.J. and Ken Rowe and wife, Brandi of Glenrock; one sister, Nellie Steele of Reno, Nev., six great-grandchildren; Olivia, Evan and Nathan Rowe of Villas, N.J., Derrick, Dillon, and Jaylee Rowe of Glenrock; and one nephew, Kenny Meyers of Yakima, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two daughters, his parents, one brother Earl and one sister Mary.
