Martha M. Frye

Services for Martha M. Frye, 93, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 1991, at the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Curtis L. Adkison, minister of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating. Burial followed in the Dell View Cemetery in Manville.

Frye died Tuesday, Jan 22, 1991, at the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home in Lusk. She was born Feb. 17, 1897, in Norfolk, Neb., the daughter of Gustav and Ann Muller. She attended rural schools in Pierce County, Neb.

She married Earl G. Frye on April 5, 1916, at Neligh, Neb. and they homesteaded near Jay Em, Wyo. They later moved back to Nebraska and farmed in Pierce County. The family moved to Battle Creek, Neb. where they lived until 1947, when they moved to Washington. Mr. Frye died in 1953. In 1963, Mrs. Frye moved to Glendive, Mont., and in 1964 she moved to Lusk. From 1970 to 1973 she lived in Harrison, Mont. and in 1973 she moved to Glendo until 1974, when she moved back to Lusk where she resided until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons; Delmar Frye of Carlin, Nev., and David Frye of Casper; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
