Anna DeWolf Fulk

Anna Fulk a resident of Lusk for the past 14 years, died in Torrington Monday following a short illness.

Anna DeWolf Fulk was born December 28, 1897, at Brady, Neb., the daughter of Thomas and Anna DeWolf Elder. She moved with her parents to Scottsbluff and there she married Roy C. Fulk. Mr. and Mrs. Fulk moved to Wheatland where the eight children were raised. Mrs. Fulk moved to Lusk in 1964 and lived here until her death. She was a member of the American War Mothers in Lusk.

Funeral service will be this Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Peer Mortuary with the Rev. Lawrence Kelley officiating.

Minerva Watson will be organist with Joy Kaltenheuser singing "Rock of Ages" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Interment will be at the Lusk Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bill Dockery, Jerry Oestman, Ray Taylor, Al Titchener, Archie Lauer, and Norman Brillhart.

Memorials may be sent to the Senior Center or to the Niobrara Nursing Home.

Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by her husband Roy; five sisters, seven brothers, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by three sons, Howard, Edward and Leonard, all of Lusk; five daughters, Murriel of Healdsburg, Calif., Mildred and Irene of Scottsbluff, Sarah, Vallejo, Calif. and Darlene, Alliance, Neb.; one sister, Stella Cade, Healdsburg, Calif., one brother, Tom Elder, Calistoga, Calif.; 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
