RUNSER-JAMES WEDDING

The Lusk Standard, November 26, 1920

Last Friday evening at about 7:30 at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Runser, occurred the marriage of their son Harry L. to Miss Maude James. The beautiful ring ceremony was used, Rev. R. Staehr of the Lutheran church, pronouncing the words that united the couple in the bonds of matrimony.

The bride was becomingly gowned in blue messaline, the bride-groom wearing a dark blue suit.

Only members on the immediate family and Ed B.Willson were present, and after the ceremony the entire company partook of a bounteous dinner prepared by the mother of the home. Later in the evening, music was indulged in which added much to the pleasure of the occasion.

It was the desire of the contracting parties to keep the event a secret, but it is not easy to keep such news as this.

Congratulations and a long, happy life to you both.  (Manville News)
