Violet Siglinger

Violet E. Siglinger, 97, of Lusk, died Sept. 20, 1999 at Mountain Towers Healthcare Center in Cheyenne. Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. at Wiedenspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, Cheyenne, with the Rev. D. W. Hildie officiating. Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

She was born February 26, 1902 in Gilpin, Colo.; and had lived most of her adult life in Loveland, Colo., Lusk and Cheyenne. Mrs. Siglinger was a retired Niobrara County librarian.

She was a member of the Garden Club in Lusk, VFW Auxiliary, AARP, Baptist Women Circle and Dwayne Webster War Mothers in Loveland.

She is survived by two sons, Bernard H. Siglinger of Virginia Beach, Va., and Keith Siglinger of Michigan City, Ind.; two daughters, Shirley Kellenberger of Maryville, Ind., and Gloria Smith of Stockton, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and eight-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Siglinger on Feb. 10, 1980; her parents, Charles and Leona Wright; two brothers, Gene Walker and an infant brother, Arthur; and two sisters, Esther Crews and Rubye Creek.

Friends who wish may contribute to the Senior Center in Lusk.
