Ray A. York

Funeral services for Ray A. York, 87, of Harrison, Neb., were held Saturday, Nov. 23, 1991, at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph Booker officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery. York died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1991, at his home.

A memorial has been established for the Harrison Rescue Unit or Make a Wish Foundation. Donations may be sent to The Security Bank in Harrison.

York was born July 24, 1904, in Pepin County, Wis., to William and Jane (Madison) York.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche, of Harrison; a daughter, Joy Glover of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, Clarence York of Redding, Calif. and Otto York of Van Tassell, Wyo.; sisters, Clara Story, Irene Haas and Mabel Umphenour all of Harrison; two grandchildren, Lee of Henderson, Nev. and Angela of Omaha.

Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford was in charge of arrangements.
