In 1943, they returned to the home ranch where they ranched until they sold it in 1977. They moved to Torrington, and later made their home on Cherry Creek on the Veteran Highway. She was always interested in writing, and kept journals over the years. She also enjoyed raising a big garden. She is survived by her husband, William, of Torrington; two sons, Cody Brownrigg of Newcastle, and Danny Lee Brownrigg of Loveland, Colo.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Oneta Mintun of Davenport, Iowa; one brother, Floyd Haynes of Guernsey; two sisters-in-law, Lee Bickford of Lake Havasue, Ariz., and Jane Luster of Palmer, Alaska.
