Clyde Winford Tucker

Clyde Winford Tucker, age 69, of Keeline, died March 29, 2007, at Niobrara Health and Life Center in Lusk. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. April 5, at Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home with Pastor David Shaner officiating. Interment will follow at Dellview Cemetery in Manville.

Clyde Winford Tucker was born April 7, 1937, in Bloomfield, Mo., the son of Otis and Mae (Palmer) Tucker.

He worked as a pipefitter-welder until 1987 when he had to retire because of a heart attack. He was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local #597 of Chicago, Ill. and worked 10 years out of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #193 in Casper. He worked on various nuclear power plants in Illinois.

Clyde came to Wyoming in 1976 to work on the power plant being built in Gillette. He also worked at the power plants at Glenrock, Wheatland, Rawlins, and Rock Springs.

Survivors include his wife Sheron of Keeline; three sons: Terry of LaSalle, Ill., Ricky of Grandville, Ill., and Gary of Bloomfield, Mo.; two daughters: Reba Scudder of LaSalle, Ill., and Linda Wyatt of Vero Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Warren (Alvena) Cox of Burley, Idaho; two step-sons: Robert Blair of DePue, Ill., and David Blair of Oglesby, Ill.; two step-daughters: Debra Ross of Yuma, Ariz., and Roberta Losey of Walnut, Ill.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Steve, and three brothers, Kermit, Jay and Jerry.

Memorials may be made to the Search and Rescue of Niobrara County, PO Box 1086, Lusk, WY 82225. Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
