Marcia Garhart Cox

Funeral services for Marcia (Marti) Garhart Cox, were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Rev. Larry Bartlett officiating. Burial followed at the Dellview Cemetery in Manville.

Marti died March 27, 1996, at Chadron, Neb. She was born Nov. 17, 1943, in Lusk to Vern and Evelyn (Sullivan) Garhart.

Marti is survived by her husband, Larry Cox of Chadron; children, Ed Davenport, Lori Riggs, Marcia Cox, all of Chadron, Neb., and Brenda Woods of Iowa; her mother, Evelyn Garhart of Lusk and five sisters - Verna Pfister and Arlene Arends of Lusk, JoAnn Heins of Keeline, Carol Lambert of Golden, Colo., and Nila Barrett of Wheatland; seven grandchildren - Dustin Davenport, Brittany Riggs, Kodi Riggs, Mykey Riggs, Katie Woods, Sadie Woods and Niki Barber; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vern Garhart.

For those who wish, memorials to the Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.

Bader Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
