Father Roger Bond

Father Roger Bond, 58, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1986 at his Lusk home.

Visitation hours are 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4:40 p.m. and 8-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Scottsbluff, NE.

Father Roger W. Bond

A Requiem Mass for Father Roger W. Bond was held Friday, Sept. 19, 1986, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Scottsbluff, NE. Rev. Lewis Warren officiated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in St. Andrews Church in Buffalo, NY with Rev. Kenneth L. Seitz officiating.

Father Bond, 58, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 16, 1986, at his home in Lusk. He was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Buffalo, NY, the son of William and Sarah Bond.

He served in the U. S. Navy on Admiral Byrd's expedition. He studied for the priesthood in Puerto Rico, and served as a chaplain at Connecticut Valley Hospital. He was ordained as an Episcopal Priest at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Scottsbluff where his funeral services were held.

Father Bond was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include; four sisters, Sandra (Mrs. Louis) Cerami, Shirley (Mrs. Robert) Brady, Beverly (Mrs. Albert) Schifferle, and Lillian (Mrs. Sandy) Tabrico; plus numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
