James Deaver of Glenrock Dies Here
James Edgar Deaver, 46, of Glenrock, died Saturday at the Spencer Hospital of a bowel infection after being ill for five days. He had taken ill suddenly.
A former resident of Lance Creek during the war years, the family had moved first to Bairoil and then to Glenrock where he was a drilling contractor.
Last Sept. 5 a daughter, Jeanette, 14, died of meningitis. She, like her father, was brought here to the Spencer Hospital for treatment.
Funeral services for Mr. Deaver were held at the Catholic Church in Glenrock at 10:00 Tuesday morning and the body was returned to Lusk for burial beside the daughter.
Surviving besides his widow are two daughters and two sons.
