Services were held for Regina Lyon Tuesday, Sept 25 at 2 p.m. at Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. William Lamos officiating. The music was provided by Minerva Watson, organist, and Mark Lohr sang Come, My Soul, Thou Must Be Waking and Abide With Me

Pallbearers were Dick Pfister, Bob Templeton, Don Larson, Dave Lorenzen, Dick Price and Gene Kupke.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were by Peet Mortuary.

Regina Lyon was born on Feb. 15, 1915 at Republican City, Neb., the daughter of Elmer and Edith Waters. She died Sept. 23 at Niobrara County Memorial Hospital in Lusk.

She moved to Fort Morgan, Colo. at an early age where she lived and graduated from high school. She then moved to Denver where she was employed by Neustetters Department Store and she met and later married Harry Lyon on Oct. 8, 1938. They lived in Denver with time out for World War II which was spent in Fort Worth, Texas, until they moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in 1949.

They lived there until 1955 at which time they moved to Lusk and operated the Lyon's Department Store.

She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church and P.E.O. Chapter I.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Reginald Waters, and one granddaughter, Kelly.

She is survived by her husband Harry of Lusk; three children, John of Gillette; Sharon Mikesell of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Mike of Redwood City, Calif.; one brother, Charles Waters of San Francisco, Calif; one sister, Carolyn Corum of Silver Lake, Ore. and two grandchildren.
