Margaret O'Brien Dies Sat. Morning

Last rites for Miss Margaret Gertrude O'Brien, 48, were conducted from St. Leo's Catholic Church on Monday forenoon, November 24th, by the Rev. M. J. McBrien.

Miss O'Brien died at the home of her brother, Joe O'Brien, early Saturday morning, November 22, after being in ill health for some time.

Rosary services were held at the Peet Chapel on Sunday evening. The casket bearers were Jake Wahl, Ambrose Kinney, Robert Packard, W. D. Wasserburger and burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Survivors include her brother, Joe O'Brien of Lusk; a sister from Denver who was here for the services, and another sister in Massachusetts.

Rites for Margaret G. O'Brien are held Monday, November 24

Concluding rites were held at nine thirty o'clock Monday morning, Nov. 24th, at St. Leo's Catholic church for Miss Margaret G. O'Brien, sister of Joe O'Brien, rancher of north Lance Creek and operator of a local cold lock plant in Lusk, who passed away at the family home in Lusk at 3:20 a.m., Saturday, November 22nd.

Father M. J. McBrien officiated at the mass with the choir of St. Leo's providing the music. Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery with Jake Wahl, W. D. Wasserburger, Robert Packard and Ambrose Kinney bearing the remains to their final resting place.

Rosary services were also conducted by Father McBrien at seven-thirty o'clock Sunday evening, November 23rd in the chapel of the Peet Funeral home.

Margaret Gertrude O'Brien was born October 26th, 1904 at Williamstown, Mass., and departed from this life on Saturday November 22nd, 1952 at the age of 48 years and 26 days. Most of her life was spent in Massachusetts until she came to Wyoming to make her home with her brother.

The deceased is survived by her brother, Joe O'Biren (O'Brien), of Lance Creek and Lusk, two sisters, one of Denver, Colo., who was here for last rites, and another who resides in Massachusetts.
