Edna Blair dies
The sister of Lusk residents Edith Kaan and Howard Eikenberry, Edna Blair, 76, died Thursday in Cheyenne where she had lived for the last few years.
The funeral for Mrs. Blair was Tuesday in Lander.
She was born May 17, 1901 in Warsaw, Mo. On May 27, 1924 she married Percy C. Blair at Casper.
She is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carol Martinez of El Cajon, Calif.; and two sons, Neil of Cheyenne and Wayne of Casper. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blair had lived in the Lusk area and had attended the Hat Creek School. In 1934 the Blairs moved to the Lander area where they ranched on Baldwin Creek.
Mrs. Blair was an artist who specialized in painting flowers and was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1967.
