W.W. Sabin Long Resident In This County Dies Today

Following a prolonged illness of several months, S. W. Sabin, age 75 year, 26 years a resident of Niobrara county, passed away at his ranch home near Node this Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock.

Funeral services will be held at the Peet Mortuary on Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Harry Koontz will preach the funeral sermon.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Oakland and Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Chicago, and three sons, Herbert of Node, Alfred of Oakland and Donald of Laramie.

Mr. Sabin was born in Wisconsin on December 2, 1861 and lived in that community for the following 40 years then moving to South Dakota and then coming to Wyoming in 1910 and has made his home here since that time.

The Peet Mortuary has charge of the arrangements.

Funeral Services Held For S. W. Sabin

Funeral services were held for the late S. W. Sabin at the Peet Mortuary, Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock, with Harry Koontz officiating. Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Ford B. Kuns sang a solo, "Till We Meet Again." Pallbearers were Lewis Lynn, John Sturman, R. S. Bell, Tom Pfister, Donald Paisley and R O. Bump.

Mr. Saabin was born at Windor, Wisconsin, on December 2, 1861, a son of Samuel Henry and Adella Bordine Sabin. He resided in that community for the following forty years, then moved to South Dakota, and afterward to Wyoming, settling in this county in 1910, spending the remainder of his life here. He was united in marriage to Ernestine Espenett of Windsor, Wis. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mrs. Ernestine Sabin of Node, and five children - Ethel, Ruth, Herbert, Ben, Alfred and Donald, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Sabin passed away on June 25, at 10:20 a.m. at the family home near Node, after attaining the age of 75 years. Mr. Sabin was a man of fine qualities and sterling character, and leaves a host of friends who will learn of his death with regret.
