Bertha Bixler Dies In Scottsbluff
Mrs. Bertha D. Bixler, 69, of Harrison, died in a Scottsbluff hospital Saturday morning of cancer. She was the mother of Kenneth Bixler of Lusk.
Mrs. Bixler had been ill for some time. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church of Harrison Tuesday with Rev. Keith Brunning conducting the final ceremony.
Besides Mr. Bixler of Lusk survivors include another son, John of Harrison, two daughters, Mrs. Laverna Reardon of California and Mrs. Joan Cunningham of Alabama. Her husband died in 1946 and one daughter, Loraine McDowell, also died in 1946.
