Local Women's Father Dies in Scottsbluff

Lee Edwin Ring, 67, brother of Mrs. Alex Gunn and Mrs. Carl Pearson both of Hat Creek died March 28 at his home in Scottsbluff following a heart attack.

Funeral services were held March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the Reed Funeral home in Scottsbluff and graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. at Crawford where interment was made.

Mr. Ring, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. August L. Ring, was born in Sioux County on a ranch north of Harrison June 19, 1888, where he grew to manhood. He married Eleanor Mesropian, May 21, 1918 in Omaha. They resided on a ranch north of Harrison until 1936 when they moved to Scottsbluff. There they operated a grocery store until 1949.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Herbert of Crawford; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Bowers of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother Lawrence of Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Anderson of Harrison,; Mrs. Carl Pearson and Mrs. Alex Gunn of Hat Creek; seven grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Attending services from here were Mr. and Mrs. Alex Gunn, Mrs. Carl Pearson, John Hoffman, Mrs. George Story all of Hat Creek and Mrs. Ralph Sides of Node.
