The body of Charles Stutesman, former resident of Lusk, was brought here from Torrington for funeral service and burial last Thursday afternoon.

Stutesman was employed here as a ferry pilot by the late Les Huff who owned Huff Flying Service.

Officiating at the service held at Peet Chapel was the Rev. Martin Marmon, Torrington. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Charles Joseph Stutesman was born July 4, 1911, in Grayson, Mo., and came to Wyoming 21 years ago. He made his home in Douglas, Lusk, and Torrington. He and Ila Hathaway were married April 4, 1955, in Douglas.

Survivors include his widow of Torrington; sons Charles Lee, Wilcox, Ariz., and Jimmy Dale, Antigo, Wis.; sister Frances Pemberton, Grayson, Mo; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
