Guy Moore Dies In Lusk Sunday

Guy Moore, 67, died Sunday morning from complications of pneumonia at the Manring Convalescent Home in Lusk. He had been in ill health for several years.

Funeral services were held at the Peet Chapel Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. James Davis, minister of the First Congregational Church officiating. Pallbearers were Bert Kaper, Harold Orville and Dale Allbright, Orville Manring and Lee Moore. Mrs. Lyle Eddy and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Beautiful Isle" and "In the Garden" with Mrs. J. P. Watson at the organ.

Mr. Moore was born on a farm near Bassett, Neb. February 20, 1896 the son of John Moore and Rachael May Moore. He spent most of his life in Rock County, Neb. farming and ranching. He moved to Wyoming in 1950 to be near his son.

He was married to Mildred Bruce at Ainsworth, Neb. in September 1926. they were the parents of three daughters and one son.

Survivors are his son, Eldon of Manville, his daughters, Mrs. Donald Warnke of Sweet Home, Ore. and Mrs. Howard Carr of Springview, Neb.; two brothers, Albert of Winnepeg, Manitoba and Purl of Ridgefield, Wash.; one sister, May Jones of Bassett; and seven grandchildren. A daughter, Edna, his parents and two brothers died previously.
