Judy Rippley

Judy Bostrom Rippley of Loveland passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019.

Judy was born March 17, 1945, in Lusk, to Oscar and Alma Lingwood Bostrom. Judy graduated from Niobrara County High School in Lusk.

Judy and William Rippley were married in Lusk. They made their home in Montana. To this union was born Lewis Rippley and William Rippley, Jr.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Oscar and Alma, her son, William, her sister Eileen Bostrom Moore. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also preceded her passing.

Judy is survived by her son, Lewis and Lewis’ wife Tracey of Ft. Collins, Colo., granddaughter Chelsea Warner and Chelsea’s husband Ray, and her precious great-granddaughter, Sophia Lynn of Loveland.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her brother, Dale Bostrom and family, her sister, Audrey Bostrom Wilson and families, her uncle Gene Lenz and wife Joan of Lusk, and uncle Hugo Lenz of Wheatland.

Numerous families of her dozens of cousins, nieces and nephews from Wyoming, Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington and Oregon survive Judy.

Judy was a lifelong member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, most recently Immanuel Lutheran Church of Loveland. Judy was a lifelong voracious reader. Her love of reading began early in her life when she worked and volunteered in the Lusk Carnegie Library. She regularly visited the Loveland library. Judy loved books and reading.

Judy will be missed but fondly remembered by her church friends and her many local friends.

Cremation has been completed. Services are private. Memorials can be made to Loveland Public Library.
