Mrs. Theron S. Grant Passes Away Sunday

Mrs. Theron S. Grant of Jireh, wife of Theron S. Grant, and old-time resident of Niobrara county, passed away at the family home near Jireh, at 8:45 o'clock Sunday evening, November 16, after a protracted illness. Altho Mrs. Grant had been in poor health for many years, she had seemed unusually well during the past few weeks, and her death was sudden and unexpected.

Funeral services were held from the family  home at 1:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. B.F. Farrar officiating, and arrangements in charge of the George Earl Peet Mortuary. Interment was made in the Jireh Cemetery.

OBITUARY

Mary Pamelia Wright was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, November 26, 1867, and departed this life at Jireh, Wyoming, November 16, 1930, representing a pilgrimage of 62 years, 11 months and 20 days.

She was the youngest of five children. during her early youth she united with the Presbyterian Church at New Bedford, Pa., and on the 26th of December 1901 she was united in marriage to Theron S. Grant, the ceremony having been performed at her parental home in Pennsylvania. During the years following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Grant have made their home in this section of Wyoming, excepting about eight years in Nebraska and Iowa.

Mrs. Grant was a Christian of sterling character, possessing strong religious convictions, and was held in high esteem by her neighbors and a host of friends.

She is survived by her husband, Theron S. Grant, a daughter, Mrs. H.N. Fournier of Norwich, Conn., one brother, Arthur Wright, of New Bedford, Conn., and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Callendar of San Diego, Cal.
