Jabie L. Bowman Dies at Home of Son; Body Shipped to Broken Bow

Jabie L. Bowman passed away Saturday, July 17th, at the home of his son, Jabie, Jr., at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 27 days.

Mr. Bowman was born at Red Oak, Iowa in 1857, moving from there to Broken Bow, Nebr., where he lived for a number of years. He came to Lusk about three years ago, he ad Mrs. bowman residing at Lance Creek with their sons, Jabie and Claude until the time of his death.

No services were held here, as the remains, which were taken charge of by G. J. Armstrong, were shipped Sunday evening, July 18th to the old home at Broken Bow, where services were held.
