William "Willie" M. Reynolds Jr

Last Friday the grim reaper of death visited our section again and claimed as its victim Willie Reynolds, the invalid son since birth of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Reynolds, aged 14 years.

The little fellow was taken down but a few days prior to his death with what the doctors differ on, some say it was putrid sore throat, while others claim it was diphtheria, and suffered a great deal before death came to relieve him. Funeral services were conducted at the home last Sunday by Rev. Dodshon and the body laid to rest in a grave on the home ranch.

Nos sooner had death claimed this child until Millie Reynolds, a bright little 12-year old girl of the grief stricken parents, was taken down with the same diseas ethat claimed her brother. Dr. Warick of Chadron was telegraphed for and he arrived yesterday and administered anti-toxine, but it was too late, the child dying yesterday afternoon at about three o'clock. This is a double shock to the stricken parents and the sympathy of the community goes out to them in this dark hour of sorrow.
