A recent application to the KM for Kids program has allowed the library to purchase several books and the accompanying book on CD. These "homework packs" are suitable for the beginning reader through young adults. Some of the titles are: "My Friend Flicka," "Froggy's Sleepover" and "The Star of Kazan." We will circulate these items for two weeks, so stop in and check them out.

The afterschool programs end this week and from all reports the children have had a good time as they've been introduced to "silly tales" - a spin on classic fairy tales. Yvonne is busy planning the summer reading program which will begin the first Wednesday in June.

Have you checked out the Genealogy portion of our website? If you get a chance be sure to take a look, this is a work in progress and we have a lot of data to collect yet. The obituaries that are currently indexed at the library are just about all entered and then we will begin gathering data that we don't have, if you find that you have obituaries that are not in the database please send them to us, either by email, Debbie Sturman or to PO Box 510, Lusk, WY 82225.
