A new fiction book for adults is “Last Call” by James Grippando. Having proved the innocence of a friend (who had been falsely accused of murder) criminal defense attorney, Jack Swyteck is once again called upon to help this friend. The twist is the identity of his mother’s killer in exchange for helping an escaped convict – a page-turner for sure!

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior books “A Picture for Mark” by Eric A. New picture books are “Knuffle Bunny, Too: a Case of Mistaken Identity” by Mo Willems, “Frightful’s Daughter Meets the Baron Weasel” by Jean Craighead George and “Skippyjon Jones and the Big Bones” by Judy Schachner.
“In Like a Lion” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 6. Storyhour is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
