The final film in the Faces of Addiction film series will be shown on Wednesday, December 8 at 6 p.m. "My Name is Bill W." is the true story of Bill W., who along with a friend founded Alcoholics Anonymous. The film is 100 minutes and the evening will include a light meal as well as discussion led by Deane Tucker and Richard Patterson.

Plan to join us for an evening of old-fashioned Christmas fun on Wednesday, December 15 at the library at 6:30 p.m. William "Buffalo Bill" Boycott will present a Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas through holiday songs, stories and skits. The program is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts and locally from a grant with the NCSD Recreation District. This musical evening is sure to be enjoyed!

Terry McMillian has written a sequel to "Waiting to Exhale" entitled "Getting to Happy." It is now fifteen years later and Savannah, Bernadine, Robin and Gloria are each at their own crossroads. All four are learning to heal past hurts and to reclaim their joy and their dreams. They've exhaled - now they are learning to breathe.

Other new fiction books include "Ape House" by Sara Gruen, "The Reversal" by Michael Connelly, "Real Murders" by Charlaine Harris, "Immanuel's Veins" by Ted Dekker, "A Year on Lady Bug Farm" by Donna Bell, "Promise Me" by Richard Paul Evans and "A Nose for Justice" by Rita Mae Brown.

New adult non-fiction books are "Cesar's Rules: Your Way to Train a Well-Behaved Dog" by Cesar Millan, "The Wave: In Pursuit of the Rogues, Freaks, and Giants of the Ocean" by Susan Casey, "Secretariat's Meadow: the Land, the Family, the Legend" by Kate Chenery Tweedy and "Gooseberry Patch Christmas, Book 12" edited by Susan White Sullivan.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior titles: "If Wishes Were Horses" and "Leap of Faith" by Bernadette Kelly and "Over the Net" and "Stolen Bases" by Jake Maddox, plus this picture book: "In the Sheep Pasture" by Patricia M. Stockland.
