Colleen McCullough’s new book is “The Prodigal Son.” A lethal toxin, extracted from the blowfish, is stolen from a laboratory at Chubb University. Dr. Millie Hunter, a biochemist, reports the theft. Bodies start to mount up and their deaths seem to be linked only by the poison and the presence of Dr. Jim Hunter, Millie’s husband. Captain Carmine Delmonico and his detectives must follow the trail no matter how close to home it may lead. Sure to be a hit!
