Wednesday, April 9 the third of three "Reading Is Fun" (RIF) programs will be held at the library at 6:30 p.m. The Friends of the Library are sponsoring Curtis Mork, the Lego Guy for an evening of learning about Lego’s. Children will all have the opportunity to create with Lego’s as well as select their own book. If children have missed any of the other RIF programs they will be able to choose books for those missed programs. Plan to attend!

Don Merback, a Casper author, has written “Tales from the Cottonwood: a Wyoming Adventure.” Curtis Blanchard, a recent college graduate from Boston finds himself with a broken arm, a mild concussion, and a really broken little car somewhere in Wyoming. He is surrounded by a diverse cast of characters at a roadhouse bar called the Cottonwood and is being shown some good old “Wyoming hospitality.”

Other new fiction books are “The Last Days of California” by Mary Miller, “The Waking Engine” by David Edison, “The Good Luck of Right Now” by Matthew Quick, “Cider Brook” by Carla Neggers, “Once in a Lifetime” by Jill Shalvis, “The Kill List” by Frederick Forsyth, “Cockroaches” by Jo Nesbo and “Deception Cove” by Jayne Castle. “Forever” is a new young adult title by Karen Ann Hopkins.

Matsakis.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, “Secrets of the Book” by Erin Fry and “Stink and the Shark Sleepover” by Megan McDonald. Some new easy titles are “Meanwhile Back at the Ranch” by Anne Isaacs and “Prickly Rose” by Shelley Gill.
