"Hey, Kids!" is returning this summer! With summer reading winding down we are partnering with the Fresh Start Convenience Store this year to offer incentive for children to keep reading! The program is for children of all ages and begins with coming to the library and setting a goal of how many books or pages per week you think you can read and then reading that goal for two weeks. Once the goal is read for two weeks participants are eligible for a certificate to the Fresh Start Convenience store for a small Parrot Ice or other items and then are ready to begin the next two week cycle. Stop by the library for more details!

New books in the adult library include "Pinkerton's Sister" by Peter Rushforth, "The Franklin Affair" by Jim Lehrer "Table for Five by Susan Wiggs, "Return to Me" by Rosemary Rogers, "Music City Confidential" by Dan Tyler, "4th of July" by James Patterson, "My
Life So Far"
by Jane Fonda, "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell and "Homescaping" by Ann Halpin.

For the young adult, there is "Now You See It..." by Vivian Vande Velde and "The Boy Who Couldn't Die" by William Sleator.

Our junior readers will enjoy "Wing Nut" by M. J. Auch and "Robert and the Weird & Wacky Facts" by Barbara Seuling.

Our younger readers will enjoy "Moo Who?" by Margie Palatine.

"Trains" is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, July 12. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for children age three through kindergarten.
