The week of November 14 also kicks off the visit of the Ann Simpson Artmobile to our community. The Artmobile exhibition is "Surrealism: Visions of the Mind" and features 15 works of art from 15 different artists from seven different nations. In a broad view of two-dimensional Surrealist approaches the exhibition includes etchings, lithographs, a monotype, an intaglio, an engraving and a painting. Artmobile Educator, Erica Ramsey, will be presenting several programs for local students and two public events. Tuesday, November 15 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. a Brown-Bag (bring your own lunch) program will be held and a community event will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 5:30 p.m. Exploring the history and processes of Surrealism through a structured deep looking activity followed by an art making activity will be part of the programs. An afterschool program for K-5 will be held on Wednesday, November 16. Call the library to register for this program. Educator Erica Ramsey is looking forward to this opportunity in Lusk. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to view museum quality art!

Gayle Forman's new adult book is "Leave Me." Maribeth Klein was a harried working mother who's so busy taking care of her husband and twins that she doesn't even realize that she has had a heart attack. Surprised to discover that her recuperation seems to be an imposition on those who rely on her, she does the unthinkable - she packs a bag and leaves. Far away from the demands of family and career and with the help of liberating new friendships, Maribeth is finally able to own up to the secrets she has been keeping from herself and those she loves.

Other new fiction books are "Basque Moon" by Julie Weston, "Winter's Child" by Margaret Coel, "An Obvious Fact" by Craig Johnson, "Always a Cowboy" by Linda Lael Miller, "Tough Luck Hero" by Maisey Yates, "Robert B. Parker's Debt to Pay" by Reed Farrel Coleman, "A Love Made New" by Kathleen Fuller, "Closed Casket" by Sophie Hannah and "Brass in the Desert" by Richard S. Wheeler.
