Thank you all for the many donations, both of money and books to the Annual Book Sale. The Friends of the Library raised right around $1000. We extend a tremendous thank you to Allen and Jeri Hineman as well as the members of the Up and Coming 4-H Club and the many other individuals who helped. We were very fortunate to have the librarian from the Wind River Tribal College take the books that didn't sell. She was quite pleased with the variety of the titles and can use them in the library that is currently being set up in Ethete.

On behalf of the Friends of the Library we also extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated cakes for the Ice Cream Social. Thank you also to Clara and Kerry Powers for the use of their tarps and the Cub Scouts and their leaders Mike & Kelly for setting them up. Of course we also extend our gratitude to all of the individual volunteers who helped with this event. Over $500 was raised for the Foundation's Kresge Challenge Grant.

Stop by the library when you get a chance and take a look at the Indian Doll collection on display by Tommie Taylor. There are many new additions from the previous display.

Dyer, and "Birthday Cakes: Recipes and Memories from Celebrated Bakers" by Kathryn Kleinman.
