“The World of Books: What Books Mean to You” is the theme for the Friends of the Library bookmark and poster contest. Children pre-K through 3rd grade are invited to make a poster on an 8 ? x 11 piece of paper and 4th graders through adult are asked to create a bookmark, 2″ x 7″ that can be reproduced. Entries are due at the library by November 14 and winners will be announced Friday, November 18. For more details contact the library at 334-3490 or any Friends of the Library board member.
If daytime hours are difficult for you to get to the library be sure to plan a Wednesday evening visit. The library is open noon until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

“Jungle Stories” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, November 8, 2005. Storyhour is held every Tuesday throughout the year for children ages three through kindergarten.
