Presenting?. eAudiobooks! Over 1200 popular titles including best-sellers and classics, Pimsleur foreign language learning programs and Modern Scholar courses are now available from your local library website, Books “check-out” for three weeks and are renewable, no more holds and no more late fees with the simple renewal process. Up to 10 titles can be checked out at once. These are highly compatible with any portable device that supports Windows Media-based service as well as your desktop computers. This service adds a whole new dimension to library service – be sure to check it out today! New titles will be added on a monthly basis.

The changing face of family life today will be discussed in a film discussion series at the library beginning Monday, September 11. “Faces of Family” begins at 6 p.m. with the film and discussion of “John Q.” Discussion leaders are Don Hodgson, at the library and Cristina Colling, at the Wyoming Women’s Center. A free meal will be served at the library for participants so plan now to attend.

New books include “No Good Deeds” by Laura Lippman, “In the Dark of Night” by John Saul, “The Messenger” by Daniel Silva, “Sleeping with Fear by Kay Hooper, Dead Wrong” by J. A. Jance, “Simple Courage: a True Story of Peril on the Sea” by Frank Delaney, “Divorce Without Court: a Guide to Mediation and Collaborative Divorce” by Katherine E. Stoner, “Barbra: The Way She Is” by Christopher Anderson and “Racing with my Father: Growing Up with a Riding Legend” by Patrick Smithwick.

New books for the young adult include “The Burning Bridge” by John Flanagan.

Junior readers will enjoy “Among the Free” by Margaret Peterson Haddix and “The Magic Escapes” by Tony Abbott.

Our youngest readers will be sure to like “A Royal Valentine” by Wendy Wax and “Riding the Range” by Justin Spelvin.

“Time Flies!” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, September 12 at 10 a.m. Storyhour is held each Tuesday for children that are three through kindergarten.
