Tickets are now available at the library for the No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament to be held on Saturday, July 10 at the Fairgrounds as part of the Legend of Rawhide activities and sponsored by the Niobrara County Library Foundation. Tickets are $35 and include lunch for players. Call Tom Dooper, 334-2013, Lisa Pischel, 334-2532 or the library, 334-3490 for more information. Lunch will also be available to the public.

Also on July 10th, the Friends of the Library will be hosting “Indiana Bones” at the Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. Be sure to come out and enjoy this extraordinary storyteller – fun for the entire family!

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior titles: “Benjamin Pratt and the Keepers of the School: We the Children” by Andrew Clements and “The Card Turner” by Louis Sachar. New picture books are “Wolf Wanted” by Ana Maria Marchado, “You With the Stars in Your Eyes” by Deepak Chopra and “Which Shoe Would You Choose?” by Betsy R. Rosenthal.

“Out West” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 8. This weekly program is held from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten throughout the year. The movie, “Cloudy with a Chance Of Meatballs” will be shown on Thursday, July 8 at 1 p.m.
