The Friends of the Library are planning a Christmas Cookie and Candy Sale to be held on Wednesday, December 5 at the library from 3-6 p.m. Homemade goodies will be available to purchase by the pound, so stop in for a cup of hot cider and get your holiday baking out of the way!

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new titles “Lula Walks the Dogs” by Judith Viorst, “Caught” by Margaret Peterson Haddix and “Third Grade Angels” by Jerry Spinelli. Some new picture books are “Little Elephants” by Graeme Base, “Heckedy Peg” by Audrey Wood and “Penny and Her Doll” by Kevin Henkes.
